When improperly stored, tires are an easy place for mosquitoes to breed in large quantities. Disposing of old tires is a simple way to help prevent the development of mosquitoes in your area.
Midland County is teaming up with the City of Midland for a blood drive. The drive is Thursday January 12, 2023. The blood drive is to be held in the Board of Commissioners Room of the County Services Building. Appointment times are from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm. There are many appointment times still available.
You are able to make your donation appointment online. You will be allowed to make an appointment in available time slots. This link also allows you to search for other donation dates and sites if this drive is not convenient for you. You can also call 866-642-5663 or go to http://versiti.org/MI to schedule an appointment or ask questions about eligibility.

Through the years, CNC has grown from its original 198 acre parcel and an all-volunteer staff to include over 1,500 acres, 40 staff members and hundreds of volunteers. Over 70,000 people visit CNC every year, including 1,000 Nature Day Campers and thousands of school children.
