Committee

The Administration & Operations committee is responsible for contract and grant approval, large building improvements, as well as approval of County claims.
The Executive Committee is a committee of the whole and is the monthly meeting at which both the Administrator/Controller and the county's legal counsel give their staff reports to the Board. This is a "review" committee only...no action is allowed to be taken by the board during this meeting.
The Executive Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. During the summer months (June - August), the Committee meets on the third Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.

The Finance Committee reviews the Administrator/Controller's recommended budget, adjustments to the Board approved budget, the audit, issuance of debt and other issues that may impact the overall financial position of the County.
The Human Services Committee reviews new position requests, employee benefit changes and the labor negotiation process.
