Meet Sheriff Greene
Midland County's 32nd Sheriff ran unopposed in the November 2020 General Election.
Sheriff Myron Greene is a lifelong resident of Midland County. He graduated from Midland Public Schools and then went on to attend Delta College, the Northeastern Basic Police Academy and later furthered his education through Ferris State University. Sheriff Greene has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office for over half of his life. He began his career in 1992 when he was hired as a Marine Patrol Deputy and over the course of his career has worked in nearly every division; with the majority of his experience being on Road Patrol. Sheriff Greene was successful in the August 2020 Primary Election with 59% of the vote and was unopposed in the November 2020 General Election. He was elected as Midland County’s 32nd Sheriff and took office on January 1, 2021. Sheriff Greene looks forward to serving the citizens of Midland County in this new role and keeping Midland County a safe place to live, work and raise a family.
