Road Patrol
The Midland County Sheriff's Road Patrol Division is the primary law enforcement agency for the 40,000 residents of Midland County and serves as a supplemental agency for 40,000 residents of the City of Midland and City of Coleman.
Our Deputies respond to approximately 10,500 calls for service each year. The Road Patrol Division reacts and responds to citizen's calls for assistance in an effort to deter criminal activity, reduce traffic crashes and fatalities. They generally provide a community omnipresence that promotes a feeling of public safety. The Road Patrol Division works diligently to apprehend those who violate Michigan's laws and threaten the public's ability to feel safe and secure in their community.
The Road Patrol Division is comprised of 21 full-time Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) licensed Deputies who work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to keep Midland County safe.
