Dive Team
The Dive Rescue team provides rapid response and rescue of anyone involved in a water related incident. The Midland County Sheriff's Office first implemented the Dive Rescue Team in 1972. Membership includes Sheriff's Office employees from the Road Patrol, Corrections, and Reserve Deputies Division, as well as officers from the Midland City Police Department.
Along with the rapid response and rescue function, their secondary goal is the quick recovery of drowning victims and evidence recovery.
